The Birdie EVO hoist is based on the original Birdie lifter but incorporates new features and improvements. The popular choice for nursing or care home environments, it allows for maximum space, even when the lifter is in its highest position, enabling a comfortable lift and transfer for the user. The user can be easily rotated 360° while being lifted, making moving and transferring between a bed, chair or wheelchair much easier. The Birdie is even capable of lifting a patient from the floor. The leg width is electrically or mechanically adjustable, with a minimum width of 64cm and a maximum spread up to 102cm. The curved design of the legs allows for easy movement around comfort chairs or power wheelchairs. The Birdie EVO is easily folded without needing to use of tools, thereby taking up minimal space & making storage & transport easier.
